Following the first images and details being released over the past few days, a half dozen more new photos from the fifth “Indiana Jones” film have arrived from Paramount Pictures.
Set in late 1960s New York, the film will deal with Operation Paperclip (Nazi scientists given amnesty in the US in exchange for their scientific knowledge), and the space race against the Soviet Union.
Steven Spielberg co-wrote the script for the new entry, which is being directed by James Mangold and will mark 80-year-old Harrison Ford’s final outing as the famed archaeology professor and adventurer.
Also onboard are Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Mads Mikkelsen, Boyd Holbrook, Antonio Banderas, Shaunette Renee Wilson, Thomas Kretschmann, and Toby Jones.
The film’s first trailer is expected within the next few weeks, with the film slated to hit cinemas on June 30th 2023. A spinoff series is also in the works for the Disney+ service.
