Netflix has released the first sneak peek clip for the second season of the fantasy series “Shadow and Bone” which wrapped filming a year ago and is now finally arriving.
Jesse Mei Li, Ben Barnes, and Archie Renaux all return and are joined by Lewis Tan as Tolya Yul-Bataar, Anna Leong Brophy as Tamar Kir-Bataar, Patrick Gibso as Nikolai Lantsov, and Jack Wolfe as Wylan Hendriks.
Based on Leigh Bardugo’s Grishaverse novels, the series is set in a war-torn world and centers on an orphan and lowly soldier as she unleashes an extraordinary power that could be the key to setting her country free from the monstrous threat of Shadow Fold.
Struggling to get a grasp on her powers while avoiding a crew of charismatic criminals out to get her, she learns that allies and enemies might be one and the same and that nothing in the lavish world is what it seems.
The series is created and executive produced by Eric Heisserer, who also serves as the writer and showrunner.
