Thieves have reportedly stolen over $200,000 worth of props from the set of Netflix’s “The Crown” series whilst the major series was shooting in Yorkshire.
Over 350 items were reportedly taken during the heist, including a replica Faberge egg, a dressing table, crystal glassware and silver and gold candelabras.
South Yorkshire police are currently investigating the theft which was pulled off when three vehicles were broken into in a lorry park near the town of Mexborough.
The incident will not affect production, but Netflix has issued a plea to help recover the items.
