The trailer has been released for “City of Lost Children” and “Amelie” director Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s new Netflix sci-fi comedy film “BigBug”.
The story unfolds in a quiet residential neighbourhood in 2050 and follows four people whose domestic robots take them hostage during a robot uprising.
Locked together, a not-quite-so-blended family, an intrusive neighbour and her enterprising sex-robot are forced to put up with each other in an increasingly hysterical atmosphere.
Jeunet and Guillaume Laurant co-wrote the film which will hit the service worldwide on February 11th 2022.
