Hardy Boys
Nelvana and Lambur Productions have greenlit a second season of ten episodes of Hulu’s “The Hardy Boys” reboot. Filming will begin in Toronto and Southern Ontario later this month, and premiere in 2022.
Picking up six months after the first season, Frank and Joe tackle another complicated mystery when a local Bridgeport teen goes missing and a shadowy corporation moves into town. [Source: Variety]
The Wiggles
Multichannel digital platform Loop Media has come to a deal with Australian kids mega-franchise “The Wiggles” which will see a free, ad-supported Wiggles Channel coming to the service. Launching this summer, it will feature thousands of hours of original programming designed for children and families. [Source: Loop]
Tom and Jerry in New York
HBO Max has unveiled the official trailer for its original series “Tom and Jerry in New York” which is slated to debut Thursday, July 1st.
Everybody’s favorite animated Cat & Mouse have moved to the big city, where Tom is the resident mouser at the five-star Royal Gate Hotel and Jerry is the up-to-no-good resident mouse.
The Patrick Star Show
Nickelodeon has released a new trailer for “The Patrick Star Show,” the animated series focusing on SpongeBob Squarepants’ best friend. The series begins July 9th with new episodes weekly.
In the series, Patrick gets somehow involved in the production of his very own TV series. Tom Wilson, Cree Summer, Jill Talley and Dana Snyder voice members of his family.
Fena: Pirate Princess
Crunchyroll and Adult Swim’s Toonami have released a new trailer for their anime series “Fena: Pirate Princess” which will debut later in the summer.
The story follows a young orphan who is on the run from pirates and the English Navy after her parents are killed. She partners with a samurai as she searches for her family’s treasure and tries to avoid getting captured.
