The Disney+ acquired film recording of the multi-Tony award-winning “Hamilton” stage musical has been officially allowed to compete in the Golden Globes’ comedy/musical categories. The HFPA will announce their nominations on February 3rd. [Source: HFPA]
Untitled Darren Aronofsky Project
Cinematographer Matthew Libatique (“Birds of Prey,” “Black Swan”) will reunite with frequent collaborator, Darren Aronofsky, for the latter’s next project.
Set to film Olivia Wilde’s “Don’t Worry Darling” next, he said this week: “I’m planning to make a small film with [Darren] Aronofsky that obviously I can’t talk about. But yeah, that’s the next thing for me.” [Source: Rappler via The Playlist]
WandaVision
Disney+ has released a new TV spot for their Marvel Studios series “WandaVision,” the one-minute clip offering a better look at the classic sitcom world its characters live in and how the illusion isn’t quite stable. The series launches mid-January.
