Disney Television Studios is rebranding its three different studios – in the process divesting itself of the last uses of the word ‘Fox’ in any of its letterheads.
20th Century Fox Television will now be known as 20th Television. ABC Studios and ABC Signature will collectively become ABC Signature. Finally, Fox 21 Television Studios has been renamed Touchstone Television.
The change was part of the negotiated merger terms between Disney and 21st Century Fox and follows on from the film divisions 20th Century Fox and Fox Searchlight becoming 20th Century Studios and Searchlight Pictures.
All new episodes produced by 20th TV, ABC Signature and Touchstone TV will score the new motion end cards. Library episodes will continue to feature the old motion ones.
