Well Go USA Entertainment has announced an August 21st release date in select U.S. cinemas for the highly anticipated Korean zombie action sequel “Train to Busan Presents: Peninsula”.
Set four years after South Korea’s total decimation in “Train to Busan,” Jung-seok is a soldier who previously escaped the diseased wasteland and relives the horror when assigned to a covert operation with two simple objectives: retrieve and survive.
When his team unexpectedly stumbles upon survivors, their lives will depend on whether the best- or worst – of human nature prevails in the direst of circumstances. Yeon Sang-ho helms the film which recently opened in Asian markets to very strong numbers.
