Josh Hartnett-Led “Paradise Lost” Hits April

Spectrum Originals will launch the Josh Hartnett-led ten-part Southern gothic mystery drama series “Paradise Lost” on April 13th.

Paramount Television Studios and Anonymous Content produced the series in which Hartnett plays a Californian man who moves back to Mississippi with his Palo Alto psychiatrist partner (Bridget Regan).

The pair soon uncover a mystery that needs solving, in a slightly unusual fashion, and the series deals with themes of religion versus rationally minded scientific thinking. Nick Nolte, Barbara Hershey, Gail Bean, Danielle Deadwyler, Shane McRae and Silas Weir Mitchell co-star.

The Baton Rouge-shot show launches first on Spectrum, before running on the Paramount Network later this year.

Rodes Fishburne (“Blood & Oil”) created and executive produces the series and co-showruns with Arika Lisanne Mittman, David Kanter, Jeff Okin and Romeo Tirone. John Lee Hancock helms the pilot.
