After teasing it the other day on Twitter, James Gunn and Marvel have released the official music video for the David Hassellhoff and the Sneepers disco anthem “Inferno”.
The song, which played over the “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2” end credits, gets a period appropriate clip which boasts the likes of Gunn and Hasselhoff themselves along with basically all the main cast (bar Kurt Russell) and one special cameo in a series of increasingly wild outfits. Check it out below.
Hasselhoff recently said he and Gunn were considering ideas for a “Knight Rider” reboot, but that is only talk for the moment. Gunn is officially set to return to write and direct the third installment of the “Guardians of the Galaxy” franchise, and he recently told THR that scripts are in the works for further iterations of Marvel’s cosmic characters – from ones that haven’t been introduced to ideas for where existing characters might show up in the next phase of the MCU.
“Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2,” the third highest grossing movie of the year thus far worldwide, is about to get a Digital HD release and ahead of that the film’s gag reel has also gone online.
