Aquaman To Debut Early In China

Taking a page out of the Marvel book, Warner Bros. Pictures is going early overseas with the release of their highly-anticipated DC superhero film “Aquaman”.

Specifically, the James Wan-directed comics adaptation will open in China on December 7th, two weeks before its States-side debut on December 21st. The release is the first in the world with Australia, Russia, Singapore and Denmark all getting it on December 13th and the UK on December 14th.

The action-packed adventure spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas and reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry (Jason Momoa) and takes him on the journey of his lifetime – one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be…a king.

Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Patrick Wilson, Willem Dafoe, Nicole Kidman and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II co-star.
