“Daily Show” scribes Ben Karlin and Stu Zicherman will pen the satirical comedy “A.C.O.D.” (Adult Children of Divorce) for Miramax Films says The Hollywood Reporter.
The story follows a grown man still caught in the crossfire of his parents’ 15-year-old divorce who discovers he was unknowingly part of a study on divorced children.
He’s enlisted in a follow-up years later that wreaks new havoc on his family.
Zicherman, who created ABC’s short-lived “Six Degrees”, is slated to direct the film and produce it with Karlin and Bobby Cohen.
