“Beowulf” star Ray Winstone and “Hotel Babylon” star Max Beesley are teaming up for the new major gangster movie “Mr Goodnight” reports UK Teletext.
Beesley, 36, will play a 1960s Manchester mafia boss with Winstone as the Flying Squad cop determined to nail him.
Max’s jazz musician father Maxton Beesley will have a cameo role in the film, to be shot later this year. Maxton worked at Manchester’s Cabaret Club in the 60s – an establishment strongly linked to organised crime giving him a lot of knowledge of that world.
