“Humpday” and “The Blair Witch Project” actor Joshua Leonard will make his directorial debut on the indie feature “The Lie” says Review St. Louis.
Based on a T.C. Boyle short story from New Yorker magazine, the story deals with a man who tells a lie to get out of work and inadvertently changes his life.
Leonard will star in the project, as will Jess Weixler (“Teeth”) and Mark Webber (“Broken Flowers”) who co-wrote the script.
Jane Adams, Kelli Garner, P.J. Ransone, Gerry Bednob and Kirk Baltz also star. Shooting kicks off this month in Los Angeles.
