Well, it’s official. Rockstar Games has announced the pricing for “Grand Theft Auto VI,” though how much it costs you will depend on which version you get.
The game is set to be released with a standard edition at $79.99 and an Ultimate Edition at $99.99. Pre-orders open June 25th at midnight.
The ‘Ultimate Edition’ will include more vehicles, weapons and outfits for the characters.
In addition, Rockstar has confirmed that physical copies of the game will contain a code for a digital download – there will be no discs.
Sony has touted on its own website that PS5 will be the best place to play as the game has been designed specifically to make use of the DualSense controller, its Tempest 3D audio and the PS5 SSD’s near-instant load times.
What hasn’t been revealed is how the game will differ on the PS5 Pro as compared to the more standard base PS5. Those specs aren’t expected until closer to release.
“Grand Theft Auto VI” is set to hit PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S on November 19th. No mention of GTA Online at release has been made.
