Actor Tom Holland has teased two reveals for the upcoming Sony Pictures and Marvel Studios “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” while out promoting the film and talking to IGN.
First up, the actor says the main villain of the feature has yet to be revealed: “It’s still very much a secret… it’s unlike anything we’ve seen in one of these movies before.”
The trailers have showcased various bad guys, including Sadie Sink’s character who has remained hooded throughout and thus technically has yet to be ‘revealed’. Alternatively, he could be talking about someone being deliberately kept from the press materials.
Holland also says that one person from the MCU will remember that Peter Parker is “Spider-Man,” saying: “No one remembers that Spider-Man is Peter Parker apart from… one person.” The most common guess seems to be that it’s Hulk or Steve Rogers.
Holland and Zendaya revealed they’re big fans of the “Spider-Man” Insomniac Games and Zendaya gets frustrated because Holland keeps wanting to help her and she’s determined to play by herself.
Also today, it has been revealed that a replica of Peter Parker’s apartment in #SpiderManBrandNewDay will be open to the public on June 27th in New York. Details are at BrandNewDayPizzaParty.
