Rockstar Games has revealed the official cover art for its upcoming “Grand Theft Auto VI” and announced that pre-orders for the game will kick off from June 25th on digital storefronts and at other select retailers.
That pre-orders are getting underway pretty much confirms the title will essentially lock in the game’s current November 19th release date.
The game was first confirmed by Rockstar in 2022 and formally unveiled in late 2023 with an initial trailer for its originally planned release in November 2025. The title then got delayed to May this year and then to November.
As typical a “Grand Theft Auto” cover – there’s the lead characters, a bikini babe, a large guy in a lot of bling, at least two fast vehicles, someone with a weapon and something relatively unique to the location (in this case an alligator).
The title is the most widely anticipated game ever to be released, and pre-orders are highly likely to set new records for an entertainment product’s pre-sales.
Other developers and publishers are understandably steering clear of the title with September and October proving a busier than usual window this year while November is relatively light.
