The first photo has been released of “Harry Potter” and “Star Trek: Discovery” alum Jason Isaacs as Hollywood legend Cary Grant in ITV/BritBox’s four-part drama “Archie” which premieres on ITV in November.

The series explores Grant’s troubled childhood and how extreme poverty, his father’s adultery and the loss of his older brother, John, tore the family apart. Deceit, cruelty and one overpowering lie shaped Archie’s life. [Source: TV Line]

The Count of Monte Cristo
Bille August (“Pelle the Conqueror”) has been set to direct a sprawling eight-part English language series adapted from Alexandre Dumas’ classic novel “The Count of Monte Cristo”. A five-month is underway across France, Italy and Malta.

Sam Claflin takes the lead role of Edmond Dantes, a young sailor falsely accused of treason and imprisoned. After many years of captivity he finally escapes and, under the identity of the Count of Monte Cristo, he plans to take revenge. Ana Girardot, Blake Ritson, Karla-Simone Spence, Mikkel Boe Folsgaard, Michele Riondino, Lino Guanciale, Gabriella Pession and Nicolas Maupas co-star. [Source: Variety]

South Park: Joining the Panderverse
Paramount+ has premiered the trailer for the latest “South Park” event special “South Park: Joining the Panderverse” which will have an AI-focused story and will premiere on the service on October 27th.

In the special, Cartman’s deeply disturbing dreams portend the end of the life he knows and loves. The adults in South Park are also wrestling with their own life decisions as the advent of AI is turning their world upside down.”

The Gilded Age
HBO has unveiled the trailer for the second season of its period class drama “The Gilded Age”. Bertha Russell challenges Mrs. Astor and the old system and works to not only gain a foothold in Society, but to potentially take a leading role in it.

Meanwhile, George Russell takes on his own battle with a growing union at his steel plant in Pittsburgh. The eight-episode season premieres Sunday, October 29th on HBO and will also be available to stream on Max.
