Fourth “Captain America” Scores New Title

Marvel Studios has officially renamed its fourth “Captain America” movie, switching it from “Captain America: New World Order” to “Captain America: Brave New World”.

The film’s star Anthony Mackie revealed the new title in a social media posting showing off himself having a chat with Harrison Ford, who plays General Thunderbolt Ross in the film.

In the show, both are chatting by the film’s video monitors, whilst chairs emblazoned with the new title in the form of a new look logo can be seen.

Mackie’s Sam Wilson is also seen sporting a new outfit – not the heavily white costume he was last seen sporting in “The Falcon and the Winter Soldier,” here he’s in a suit not far off what Chris Evans’ Steve Rogers wore in ‘The Winter Soldier’ film.

The posting is essentially Mackie saying goodbye and thank you to Ford, who is likely finished his filming commitments. The project is in its last weeks of shooting in Atlanta, with production expected to wrap on June 30th.

Plot specifics are under wraps but the cast is expected to include Danny Ramirez, Carl Lumbly, Tim Blake Nelson, Shira Haas and Liv Tyler and Seth Rollins.

Marvel Studios’ “Captain America: Brave New World” is still on track for a May 3rd 2024 release.
