Filming has officially wrapped on the third season of Hulu’s “Only Murders in the Building” with one of the show’s main stars Selena Gomez revealing the news on Instagram.
Gomez used the opportunity to gush over her new season co-star Meryl Streep, sharing an image of the pair together and confirming the end of the shoot whilst adding: “I’m not sure I have enough words to explain just how beautiful this season has been.”
The wrapping of the season’s shoot is entirely on schedule, with the past two seasons of the show beginning their shoots in December/January and wrapping three months later in April, ahead of a premiere four months after that in August.
Whilst the new season hasn’t set a premiere date at this time, the series will likely roll out in an August/September window as per usual.
The new season sees the loveable trio of true crime-loving podcasters Charles, Oliver, and Mabel (Steve Martin, Martin Short and Selena Gomez) reunite to figure out who killed Ben Glenroy (Paul Rudd), who dies on stage on the opening night of Oliver and Charles’ new play.
Also onboard for the new season are Tina Fey, Vanessa Aspillaga, Adina Verson, Michael Cyril Creighton and Ryan Broussard, along with new to the show Jesse Williams who plays a documentarian with interest in the Arconia building and his own set of secrets.
Hulu says the show is its most popular original comedy and spent nine weeks in Nielsen’s top 10 streaming series chart in 2022. Check out a photo of Gomez and Streep below, along with a video of Rudd and Streep dancing – all posted by series producer John Hoffman.
