HBO has released the official poster for its ten-episode “Game of Thrones” prequel series “House of the Dragon” which will premiere on August 21st.
Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the story chronicles the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens – the only family of dragonlords to survive the Doom of Valyria.
The series is set three centuries before the events of “Game of Thrones” and will star the likes of Paddy Considine, Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint and Eve Best.
Fire will reign.
