Filming has wrapped on the second season of Amazon’s fantasy series “Good Omens” based on the Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett book. Michael Sheen and David Tennant reprise their roles on the new six-episode run which will explore storylines that go beyond the original source material. [Source: Twitter]
Untitled Phoebe Waller-Bridge Series
Amazon Prime Video has handed out a green light for a new series from “Fleabag” and “Killing Eve” creator Phoebe Waller-Bridge who signed a deal with Amazon Studios in 2019. Production on the series is scheduled to begin later in the year but specifics are under wraps. [Source: THR]
Ryan Murphy Series
All past and future seasons of most of Ryan Murphy’s FX series including “American Crime Story,” “American Horror Story” and “Pose” will be available to stream on Hulu from March 7th with all future seasons then streaming exclusively on Hulu after their linear premieres on FX. [Source: FX]
The Sixth Gun
Selwyn Seyfu Hinds has signed an overall deal with UCP to produce a TV series adaptation of the Civil War graphic novel series “The Sixth Gun” by Cullen Bunn and Brian Hurtt.
The comic deals with six pistols of otherworldly power, the sixth and most dangerous vanishing until a young woman grabs it from her dead father and finds herself hunted by men and dark entities. [Source: Variety]
The Girl From Plainview
Hulu has premiered the trailer for the limited series “The Girl From Plainview,” the true-crime story of Michelle Carter (Elle Fanning), a young girl who used text messages to encourage her boyfriend (Conrad Roy) to kill himself.
When he went through with it, and the story became a notable investigation and involuntary manslaughter trial in Massachusetts. Chloe Sevigny, Colton Ryan, Cara Buono, Kai Lennox and Norbert Leo Butz co-star. The first three episodes arrive on March 29th.
