Hot on the heels of a theft of more than $200,000 worth of props from “The Crown,” another Netflix series has been the victim of a heist whilst filming – this time it was “Lupin”.

The Omar Sy-led series was filming its new season in Nanterre on the outskirts of Paris last Friday when approximately twenty people, who had their faces covered, broke onto the set after throwing mortar fireworks according to the AFP.

An estimated $333,000 worth of equipment was stolen in the process. In a statement, the streamer says cast and crew are safe and there were no injuries. The heist took place less than two weeks after that of “The Crown” set heist in the UK.

“Lupin” is Netflix’s second-biggest international hit after “Squid Game” and shooting on the new run began in November.
