A trailer is out for “Crank” director Mark Neveldine’s R-rated action-thriller “Panama” starring Mel Gibson and Cole Hauser.
William Barber and Daniel Adams penned the film which is set in 1989 at the time of the month-long U.S. invasion which led to the deposing of the country’s leader Manuel Noriega.
On the eve of the invasion, former marine Just Becker (Hauser) is hired by CIA operative Stark (Gibson) for an undercover arms trade mission.
Charlie Weber, Katie Katzman, Jackie Cruz, Victor Turpin, Kiara Liz, Simon Phillips, and Mauricio Henao co-star in the film which was shot in Puerto Rico early last year.
Paramount Pictures and Saban Films are releasing “Panama” in select U.S. theaters and VOD on March 18th.
