Acting veteran Bill Murray will team with controversial comedian Aziz Ansari (“Master of None”) in an untitled feature for Searchlight Pictures.
Ansari is making his directorial debut on the project which he also wrote, produced and plays a key role. Youree Henley, Taylor Friedman, and Cameron Chidsey are also onboard to produce.
Based on the Atul Gawande non-fiction book “Being Mortal,” the story deals with aging and death on a larger societal scale along with the medical profession’s mishandling of it all. Further plot specifics are under wraps.
