Dave Chappelle’s Home Team
Netflix says “Chappelle’s Home Team,” a series of stand-alone comedy specials featuring comics chosen by executive producer Dave Chappelle, will debut on February 28th.
Chappelle will appear in each of the four specials to introduce the comedians who have all been working for over three decades. Earthquake and Donnell Rawlings will be the stars of the first two. [Source: Deadline]
Launchpad
Disney+ has announced a second season of its collection of live-action short films titled “Launchpad” is in the works. The six short films, based on the theme ‘connection,’ will debut on the streaming service in 2023. This time the new version allowed for both directors and writers to apply. [Source: Variety]
Tales of the Walking Dead
Olivia Munn, Danny Ramirez. Loan Chabanol, Embeth Davidtz, and Jessie T. Usher have joined the AMC episodic anthology series “Tales of the Walking Dead” which airs this Summer.
The group join already announced Daniella Pineda, Terry Crews, Parker Posey, Poppy Liu, Anthony Edwards, and Jillian Bell in the series which boasts six standalone episodes set in “The Walking Dead” universe. [Source: Variety]
