13 Songs
Iconic musician Mick Fleetwood is set to executive produce the drama series “13 Songs” currently in development at FOX. Will Reiser and Jonathan Prince will serve as writers and executive producers while Jonathan Levine directs.

The series follows rock Legend Jasper Jones and his band, The Grift who were once legends. After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, Jasper reconnects with his band to write and record thirteen final songs to leave his mark on the world. [Source: Variety]

More than six years after it tried to enter the subscription-streaming business, YouTube is officially exiting that space and winding down its original productions team for both scripted and unscripted fare.

The venture’s most successful efforts were already sold on years ago including “Cobra Kai” to Netflix, “Step Up” to Starz and “On Becoming a God In Central Florida” to Showtime. Going forward, YouTube will only be funding programs that are part of its Black Voices and YouTube Kids funds. [Source: Variety]

NBC has cancelled Ellen DeGeneres’ “Ellen’s Game of Games” after four seasons. The show’s axing coincides with the conclusion of Ellen’s award-winning daytime talk show which ends this Spring. [Source: TV Line]

The Hills: New Beginnings
MTV has cancelled its reality series reboot “The Hills: New Beginnings” after two seasons. The series saw several key players from the original hit series return, but now the franchise is reportedly being reimagined and the IP will live on with new iterations. [Source: TV Line]

Reacher
Amazon Prime has premiered a new clip from “Reacher,” its series adaptation of Lee Child’s Jack Reacher novels starring Alan Ritchson in the title role of the retired military police officer turned drifter.

The clip shows off a prison-bathroom brawl between Jack and several other prisoners, Ritchson using his massive size to take down various foes. Nick Santora (“Prison Break”) penned the series with the eight-episode first season kicking off February 4th.
