Amazon Studios and Millennium Media have set a July 23rd premiere date on Amazon Prime for Tanya Wexler’s action-comedy feature “Jolt” starring Kate Beckinsale, Susan Sarandon, Stanley Tucci, Bobby Cannavale, Jai Courtney and Laverne Cox.

Beckinsale plays a woman with a disorder causing her to experience sporadic rage-filled impulses only stoppable with a special electrode device. When she finds her lover murdered, she embarks on a revenge-filled mission to find his killer. [Source: Twitter]

Hotel Transylvania: Transformania
Sony’s “Hotel Transylvania: Transformania,” the fourth and final feature in the franchise, has been delayed. The animated feature has been pushed back from July 23rd to October 1st. The delay follows in the wake of “Peter Rabbit 2: The Runaway” underperforming in its domestic release. [Source: Sony Pictures]

Marvel’s Silk
“Watchmen” executive producer Tom Spezialy has signed an overall deal with Amazon Studios with him already appointed as executive producer/showrunner of Marvel’s “Silk” series from Sony Pictures Television.

Lauren Moon (“Atypical”) serves as writer/executive producer of this TV series based on the Korean-American comic book superhero. Phil Lord and Chris Miller also executive produce. [Source: Deadline]

Dad Stop Embarassing Me
Netflix has cancelled Jamie Foxx’s multi-camera family comedy “Dad Stop Embarrassing Me” after one season. Foxx played a successful business owner and bachelor who became a full-time father to his teenage daughter. The series debuted in April and ran for eight episodes. [Source: TV Line]

Rick & Morty
Ahead of its fifth season premiere on Adult Swim this coming Sunday, the cold open of the episode has been released online.
Adult Swim teased the same scene in animatic form last year, this time it is fully animated.
