Emmy winner Bradley Whitford, Judith Light and Broadway veteran Joshua Henry have joined the cast of filmmaker Lin-Manuel Miranda’s 1990-set Netflix movie musical “Tick, Tick… Boom”.
The trio joins the already cast Andrew Garfield, Alexandra Shipp, Robin de Jesus and Vanessa Hudgens in which will be Miranda’s feature directorial debut which follows the story of an aspiring theater composer.
Henry will play Roger, Light will play Rosa Stevens, and Whitford will play the one and only Stephen Sondheim.
Steven Levenson (“Dear Evan Hansen”) is adapting the screenplay based on the original stage show from late “Rent” creator Jonathan Larson. Miranda, Brian Grazer, Ron Howard and Julie Oh will produce.
