The Skibidi Toilet film, based on the popular YouTube web series and with Michael Bay as an advisor, is alive and has just received a financial boost to help it along.

Variety reports that Invisible Narratives, the studio behind the TV projects and film adaptation of “Skibidi Toilet,” recently announced it has secured $25 million in investment funding.

Asked about the film and TV projects, founder Adam Goodman tells the trade they are “in active conversations with a number of studios and partners”. He then says:

“‘Skibidi’ is one of the most globally recognised original franchises to emerge from that world, so choosing the right home is critical, and there is real momentum around that process.”

Goodman is a former Paramount Pictures and Dreamworks Studios chief. He exited to found Invisible Narratives in 2018.

The Skibidi Toilet YouTube channel, created by Alexey Gerasimov, has amassed over 47 million subscribers and more than 20 billion views in its time.
