A Place in Hell
Neon has delayed the Chloe Domont-directed adult thriller “A Place in Hell” from Christmas Day this year to April 23rd 2027. Paramount is handling international distribution.

Michelle Williams plays a successful cutthroat criminal defense attorney who has her ambitions upended by a younger lawyer (Daisy Edgar-Jones) brought in to replace her has serious commercial potential after encouraging test screenings. Andrew Scott also stars. [Source: Deadline]

The Thomas Crown Affair
The first trailer for Michael B. Jordan’s “The Thomas Crown Affair” remake has reportedly been rated and is ready for release. The trailer is said to clock in at 91 seconds and comes seven months ahead of the film’s release in cinemas on MArch 5th 2027.

Jordan, Adria Arjona, Lily Gladstone, Kenneth Branagh, Aubrey Plaza and Danai Gurira star in the film, which follows a billionaire art thief and an insurance investigator engaging in a cat-and-mouse game that leads to romance. [Source: Cinema Odyssey]

Bill Oddie
Beloved British comedian, writer, musician, conservationist, birdwatcher and wildlife TV presenter Bill Oddie has died aged 85. His death was confirmed by his agent.

Alongside Tim Brooke-Taylor and Graeme Garden, Oddie was one of the core trio known as “The Goodies” who had their own sketch comedy series which ran throughout the 1970s. He then went on to become one of the UK’s most well-known and beloved wildlife presenters. [Source: Deadline]

Apple TV has premiered a new trailer for the second season of its Joel Edgerton and Jennifer Connelly-led sci-fi series “Dark Matter” which returns on August 28th with ten new episodes unrolling weekly.

The newly released trailer centers the Dessen family in a growing multiverse crisis. As the consequences of the Box continue to spread across different realities, Jason, Daniela, and their allies realize that surviving is no longer enough.
