Actor Jason Momoa has confirmed on “Ellen” this week that the sequel to “Aquaman” is moving forward – and fairly fast. The actor, who is currently clean shaven and without the character’s signature beard, says: “I’ve been working with our previous writer, and getting in there, and we’ve got a locked story, and we’re getting into it. And I think it’s going to be like in two years or whatever. The beard will be back by then.” David Johnson-McGoldrick, who penned the first film, is returning for the follow-up. [Source: Ellen]

Are You Afraid of the Dark?
D.J. Caruso remains at the helm of the feature adaptation of the classic spooky kids series “Are You Afraid of the Dark” at Paramount Pictures as reports of a switching with Dean Israelite (“Power Rangers”) as a replacement have been shot down by Paramount Pictures. Filming will begin June 10th and wrap July 19th in Vancouver from a script by Gary Dauberman and BenDavid Grabinski. It is currently unknown when the film will be released. Rambo: Last Blood
Sylvester Stallone is set to appear at the 72nd Cannes Film Festival on May 24th where a tease from “Rambo V: Last Blood,” a career retrospective and a full 4K DCP restoration of the film that started it all – 1982’s “First Blood” – which will be shown in the Grand Theatre Lumiere. StudioCanal was behind the restored print made from the original camera negatives, which were scanned in 4K resolution 16bit in Technicolor Hollywood before being completed at Eclair in Paris. Chasing Happiness
The documentary about the newly reunited Jonas Brothers, “Chasing Happiness,” has set a Tuesday, June 4th premiere date exclusively on Amazon Prime Video worldwide. The film promises never-before-seen footage of Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas from their early days to their heights of stardom and the events surrounding their 2013 breakup and their recent reunion. The trio’s recent hit single “Sucker” has topped 445 million global streams to date. [Source: Variety]

First there’s a new red-band clip from the James Gunn-produced ‘dark Superman’ story “Brightburn,” a new clip from the highly anticipated “John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum” which sees John meeting with the director of The Continental chain (Anjelica Huston), and a new clip and TV spot for Disney’s upcoming live-action “Aladdin”.
