We had the teaser back in February and some featurettes since, now the full-length trailer is out for Amazon Prime Video’s live-action “Spider-Noir” series.
The series tells the story of an aging and down-on-his-luck private investigator named Ben Reilly (Nicolas Cage) in 1930s New York, who is forced to grapple with his past life as the city’s one and only superhero.
Cage reprises the role of the character he voiced in animation form in 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse” while Oren Uziel and Steve Lightfoot serve as the series co-showrunners.
Jack Huston will be playing Flint Marko/Sandman, Brendan Gleeson will be playing crime boss Silvermane, Li Jun Li is playing a nightclub chanteuse named Cat Hardy, Abraham Popoola is Tombstone and Andrew Caldwell is Megawatt.
Lamorne Morris, Lukas Haas, Karen Rodriguez, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Amy Aquino, and Andrew Robinson co-star.
Harry Bradbeer directs the first two episodes and executive produces alongside “Spider-Verse” regulars Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal.
Sony Pictures Television is producing the series which will be available to watch in both black-and-white and color and aims to hit both Prime Video and MGM+ on May 27th.
