Two years ago the trailers for “The King’s Man,” a prequel to the two “Kingsman” movies,” began to show up.
Unfortunately, the film has seen more than a half dozen delays in that time and so several further trailers have been released, only to be rendered useless as the film keeps getting kicked down the line.
At this point, 20th Century Studios is still intent on releasing the film in December theatrically and so today have released another preview, this time forgoing calling it a trailer and dubbing it a special ‘first look’.
Set in the 1910s, the film explores the origins of the very first independent intelligence agency as a collection of history’s worst tyrants and criminal masterminds gather to plot a war to wipe out millions. One man must race against time to stop them.
Ralph Fiennes, Harris Dickinson, Rhys Ifans, Tom Hollander, Daniel Bruhl, Gemma Arterton, Matthew Goode, and Charles Dance star in the film which (finally) opens December 22nd this year.
