Netflix has released the official trailer for its upcoming comedy feature “Ladies First” starring Golden Globe winners Sacha Baron Cohen (“Borat”) and Rosamund Pike (“The Wheel of Time”).
Damien Sachs seemingly has it all: money, power, and a never-ending stream of casual flings. As he prepares to ascend to the role of CEO at a leading advertising agency, his life is turned upside down when he wakes up in his worst nightmare: a parallel world dominated by women.
Where he once ruled the boardroom, he now finds himself humbled and going head-to-head with the newly fierce and fearless Alex Fox. With the rules of engagement changed and Alex at the top of her game, the two boldly battle it out in a comedy about what happens when the script is flipped.
Charles Dance, Emily Mortimer, Tom Davis, Richard E. Grant, Fiona Shaw, Weruche Opia, Kathryn Hunter, Kadiff Kirwan, and Bill Paterson co-star.
Thea Sharrock helms the film from a script by Natalie Krinsky, Cinco Paul, and Katie Silberman. The property is a remake of Eléonore Pourriat’s 2018 French feature “I Am Not an Easy Man” (Je Ne Suis Pas Un Homme Facile).
Liza Chasin, Eleonore Dailly, and Edouard de Lachomette produce the film which premieres on Netflix on May 22nd.
