Warner Bros. Pictures has released a new featurette for the next film in the DC Extended Universe, “Aquaman,” with the clip giving audiences a look into how the filmmakers crafted and fleshed out the visually breathtaking underwater world of Atlantis.
Jason Momoa stars in this origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime – one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be… a king.
Amber Heard, Willem Dafoe, Patrick Wilson, Dolph Lundgren, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Ludi Lin, Temeura Morrison and Nicole Kidman also star.
The clip comes as the other in the works DC Comics film in the next six months, “Shazam,” is currently undergoing additional filming. Filmmaker David Sandberg has confirmed on Twitter that those reshoots are straight up routine saying: “All normal stuff. No changing the tone, removing DC references or whatever else theories are out there.”
“Aquaman” opens December 21st whilst “Shazam” hits in April.
