Ethan Hawke and Amanda Seyfried are set to star in writer/director Paul Schrader’s “First Reformed” for Arclight Films and Killer Films.
Currently in preproduction, the story follows an ex-military chaplain (Hawke) who befriends a grieving widow (Seyfried) leading to an investigation of his church’s complicity with unscrupulous corporations.
Christine Vachon, Gary Hamilton and David Hinojosa are producing.
