Sony’s Screen Gems has officially started development on Quarantine 2, the sequel to the box office success from last October says Bloody Disgusting.
The original, which grossed over $30 million States-side, was essentially a shot-for-shot remake of the Spanish horror film “[REC]”.
Filmax has already shot “[REC] 2” which is released later this year in Europe, however Screen Gems is looking for a totally original pitch for the “Quarantine” sequel.
