The anime world was shaken in 2014 with the wildly successful TV series adaptation of Hajime Isayama’s smash hit manga “Attack on Titan”.
Since that twenty-six episode first season we’ve had two live-action films and a spinoff short series, but what fans have really wanted to know is – when will the second season arrive? Looks like we finally have a date according to CrunchyRoll
Originally announced in 2014 for a 2016 release, a Spanish distributor listing has since confirmed that the next season will now hit in 2017 – specifically it will screen in Japan in Spring next year. To celebrate the news, a new poster for the show was released with protagonist Eren Yaeger in his Titan form going up against the Colossal Titan. Check that out below:
