“The Shield” co-stars Michael Chiklis and Forest Whitaker are set to re-team on David A. Armstrong’s indie crime thriller “Pawn” for Extravaganza Films reports Deadline.
Jay Anthony White wrote the script, in which an ex-con becomes entangled in a manipulative chess game between the Feds, local police and the mob during a hostage situation that has gone terribly wrong.
Common and Ray Liotta also star. Chiklis, Brad Luff, Jeff Most and Michael Becker will produce. Shooting kicks off December 1st.
