“The Hurt Locker” and “The Avengers” star Jeremy Renner has signed on to star in “King of Heists” for Black Bear Pictures says Deadline.
Renner plays George Leslie, a mild-mannered gentleman who quietly assembled a crew and pulled off a $3 million heist from the Manhattan Savings Institution in 1878.
Will Staples adapted the screenplay from J. North Conway’s book. Renner and Don Handfield will produce.
