Kellan Lutz has signed to star in Aaron Sims’ $15 million indie genre film “Tatua” based on an original concept by comic book creators Paul Jenkins and Rob Prior.
Paul Layden penned the script which follows a man with a rare blood type that allows him to be tattooed with a mystical ink.
As a result, he is able to pull lethal weapons straight off his skin which gives him an enviable leg up as a covert assassin. However, doing so weakens him physically in the process – not to mention the weapons dissolve quickly.
Soon the assassin’s son is kidnapped by one of his most notoriously violent targets. Shooting kicks off in March in Toronto.
