“X-Men” director Bryan Singer and his Bad Hat Harry Prods. label are developing the drama series “Creature At Bay” for Syfy and Universal Cable Productions.
John Cabrera (“H+”) will pen the 90-minute pilot for the project which is set in the wake of the US military taking down a giant, ‘Kaiju’ style monster off the Northern California coast.
The story follows a middle-management Undersecretary from the California Emergency Management Agency who is charged with leading the clean-up efforts as the nearby small town becomes the focus of the world’s attention.
Singer, Jason Taylor and John Cabrera are executive producing.
