Tom Hardy is reported to be in “serious talks” to re-team with his “Inception” co-star Leonardo DiCaprio in Alejandro Gonzalez Inarritu’s “The Revenant.”
Based on the book by Michael Punke, the story follows a 19th century fur trapper mauled by a grizzly bear who is then robbed and left for dead by his associates.
He somehow survives and begins a treacherous journey to exact revenge on his betrayers. Hardy would likely replace Sean Penn who was involved a few years ago.
Filming is slated to begin in September.
