“Kick Ass 2” writer/director Jeff Wadlow is set to pen a rewrite of the “He-Man” reboot “Masters of the Universe” at Sony Pictures.
Wadlow does not have a deal to direct at present, although that remains a possibility. Jon M. Chu was previously linked as a director.
The rewrite will reportedly dictate where the studio heads next. Todd Black, Jason Blumenthal and Steve Tisch are producing.
