Filmmaker Brad Bird has confirmed that his regular composing collaborator Michael Giacchino has signed on to score the long-awaited Pixar sequel “The Incredibles 2”.
Giacchino scored the original film and has had four films with his scores out this year – “Jurassic World,” “Inside Out,” “Tomorrowland” and “Jupiter Ascending.”
In other sequel news, it seems Lionsgate’s “John Wick 2” has begun filming in Brooklyn this week – hot on the heels of reports that Common is joining the cast as the film’s villain.
Lionsgate has not set a release date for the Chad Stahelski-directed “John Wick 2” as yet, but a late 2016 release seems likely at this point.
