HBO has just unveiled the first trailer for the second season of its much acclaimed anthology crime drama series “True Detective”. They’ve also confirmed an earlier premiere date than expected – June 21st.
Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughn, Taylor Kitsch and Rachel McAdams star in the new season which is set in Los Angeles. Vaughn plays a career criminal and the others are cops who must all navigate a web of conspiracy in the aftermath of a murder.
Kelly Reilly, Michael Irby, Abigail Spencer, Leven Rambin, Riley Smith, Lolita Davidovich, James Frain, Adria Arjona, Christian Campbell, Michael Hyatt and Yara Martinez also star in the new season.
