Brian De Palma has become attached to direct the black comedy “The Truth and Other Lies” for Chockstone Pictures and Nick Wechsler Productions.
Based on the award-winning 2015 Sascha Arango novel, with the author penning the screenplay. The story follows a famous writer whose facade of being a virtuous, loving husband is in danger of falling apart when his mistress becomes pregnant.
He tries to get rid of her but makes a terrible mistake in the process and ends up managing a growing series of lies and complications. Steve Schwartz, Paula Mae Schwartz and Wechsler are producing.
