Lionsgate has premiered the final trailer for giant snake horror feature “Beware Boiúna” starring Jessica Rothe (“Happy Death Day”), Kiana Madeira (“Fear Street”), and Logan Marshall-Green (“The Odyssey”).
Deep in the Amazon, a medical mission spirals into a fight for survival when Boiúna, a colossal ancient predator, awakens to reclaim her domain.
In the jungle where nature holds absolute power, she decides who lives and who dies.
Comparisons are inevitable to the original 1997 “Anaconda,” though this is a straight-up horror feature with a serious tone – even more so than that film.
Mike P. Nelson (“Wrong Turn,” “Silent Night, Deadly Night”) directs the new film which hails from veteran writer Alan B. McElroy (“Halloween 4,” “Todd MacFarlane’s Spawn”).
Jeremy Bolt and Robert Kulzer produce the film which opens next Friday, October 2nd.
