Marvel Studios has locked down its post-“Avengers: Secret Wars” release slate.
The studio has confirmed that three films will be launching in 2028 with Jake Schreier’s “X-Men” on May 5th 2028, followed by Shawn Levy’s “Ghost Rider” on July 28th 2028 and then Ryan Coogler’s “Black Panther 3” on December 15th 2028.
The “Ghost Rider” date was only just announced, as even the reveal of Ryan Gosling leading the film at Comic-Con only came with a generic ‘2028’ release.
The studio released three films in 2023, one in 2024, three in 2025, has two this year with “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and “Avengers: Doomsday,” and has just one next year with “Avengers: Secret Wars”.
The studio reportedly also has films slated for May 4th 2029, July 13th 2029 and November 9th 2029, but none have been revealed as yet.
The release date news also follows in the wake of the massive success of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” and huge pre-sale numbers for “Avengers: Doomsday”.
